ART GALLERY Kyivites love of art is being demonstrated once more as another new art gallery opened on 26 April at 34b Andriivsky Uzviz in a further attempt to satiate their appetite for all things cultural. As part of the ‘Rado’ project, the first exhibition to be held in the originally entitled ‘Art Gallery’ is by Lidia Borysenko and Nelli Isupova who are both members of the National Artists Union. Borysenko creates ethnic images using various mediums such as tapestry, painting, and embroidery, where she reflects traditional art in a contemporary way. Isupova’s paintings are romantic and passionate. Many friends and fans of the charming artists were present at the opening to support the ladies and the new gallery.
